Help Keep Leaves Out of Your Downspouts
Stop larger debris at the gutter outlet before it travels into your downspout. This metal mesh gutter strainer helps catch leaves and twigs while allowing rainwater to pass through its open mesh design.
The flexible mesh can be gently shaped to suit a compatible gutter outlet, making it a practical addition to your regular gutter maintenance routine.
Why Add a Downspout Strainer?
• Helps block larger debris: Catches leaves and twigs at the outlet to help reduce debris entering the downspout.
• Open mesh design: Allows rainwater to pass through while intercepting larger material.
• Flexible fit: The metal mesh can be gently compressed or shaped to fit compatible openings.
• Accessible debris collection: Keeps trapped leaves near the gutter outlet for removal during routine cleaning.
• Compact coverage: Protects the downspout entrance without covering the entire gutter.

Fit & Maintenance
Measure your gutter outlet before ordering. The listed width is the product’s approximate size, not a guaranteed fit for every downspout.
Inspect regularly, especially after storms and during heavy leaf fall. Remove trapped debris promptly to maintain drainage. Fine sediment and small particles may pass through the mesh; this strainer does not replace regular gutter cleaning.
Check your outlet measurements and select the pack option that suits your home.
